Spring Break 2024 - Royal Caribbean Cruise Day 4 (Day At Sea)

We are at sea today!

Let's see how many fun things we can do on the ship!

It turns out we didn't do too many fun things on this particular day. Not because we couldn't find anything to do, but because we just wanted to relax all day!  We started the day down on deck six, where we went for a little (free!) breakfast at Johnny Rockets!  This sign outside of Johnny Rockets made me sad though. I never got to Haiti on this trip.

While sitting at Johnny Rockets, I could see the TVs over at Playmaker's sports bar, one of which was showing a repeat of yesterday's Auburn baseball game!  As a former Diamond Doll, I approve.

Our towel animal of today was a turkey!

There was a next-cruise trivia which was geography based so... duh, we had to do it.  I should NOT have changed the answer to number 7.  The answer WAS Bergen, Norway - which would have put us in a SOLID second place.

And the winners are...

Well, not us... we didn't get first place, but we did tie for second place! I'm leaving here with all of my winnings!

This was a total team effort. We would not have won without Natalie's knowledge of Singapore and all of our family travels, funded by this guy.

Meanwhile, Nana, Natalie and Grant's room got a dog towel animal! So funny that it was different from our turkey!

OK, now that we have crushed the trivia competition, let's go out to the pool!

And we had to ride the water slides, natürlich!

Unfortunately, one of the slides was closed, but at least we could ride the others!

This was Todd, exiting the red slide - ha! Face full of water!

And this was Grant, who I happened to snap a picture of as he sped down the red slide.

Grant and Natalie raced each other and although it looks like they tied here, a series of photos shows otherwise.  Grant won this race! Todd, Natalie and Grant went FLYING down these slides. Meanwhile, for whatever reason, I moved at a snails pace.  Like I raced Grant at one point, and he has sped down the slide, wiped the water out of his face, stood up, got out of the slide, walked out and was pretty much on his way back up the stairs before I even exited the slide!

We had another great dinner at the main dining room with our guy Pely before hitting up Spotlight Karaoke for some tunes.  Todd was hamming up the crowd with jokes before he sang New York, New York to an enthusiastic group!

Afterward, Natalie and Snezhana sang some Adele for the masses.

But then... the Dutch rolled in...

They sang a rousing rendition of Sweet Caroline, complete with um... phallic symbols on their headgear!

Then Natalie and Jordan gave us a little Bruno Mars tune to round out a really fun night!

And we're on to Jamaica... COUNTRY NUMBER 50 FOR ME!!!
