Natalie's first gymnastics class

Since Nana was in the kitchen cooking up a storm on Saturday morning, and was home to keep an eye on Grant and to put him down for his morning nap, Todd and I both got to go see Natalie in her first ever gymnastics class. It was SO freaking cute.  Only one parent is allowed in with the kids, but Todd got to hang out in the viewing room and take pictures.  Pardon the blurriness of these.  She was a fast runner!  (And they were taken through glass).  First, we ran around for free play.  Natalie really liked the trampolines.  And we all know her favorite color is green.  So she hijacked the green one.

She wasn't really into the foam pit, which you can see in the background.  She got in once and took about 2 steps and asked to get out.  She did test out the rope swing though (the teacher was in the pit helping her out).  She didn't care for that either, but at least she tried it.

After free time, we went into the smaller gym and did an obstacle course and learned how to do a "safety landing."  Each week they teach them how to do one thing.  So it's structured, but not too much for a 3 year old.  So when we had to leave, she cried and cried, but the good news is - we get to come back next Saturday!
